Leah Ingram is lifestyle and frugal-living expert, and the author of two books that focus on living more on less: Suddenly Frugal: How to Live Happier and Healthier on Less (Adams Media, 2010) and Toss, Keep, Sell: The Suddenly Frugal Guide to Getting Organized and Making Money from Your Stuff (Adams Media, 2010). The latter book focuses on getting cash for your clutter while organizing your house. She's also the creator of the nationally syndicated money-saving blog called Suddenly Frugal (http://www.suddenlyfrugal.com) and a regular contributor of frugal-living segments for the "10! Show" on NBC 10 in Philadelphia, including segments on grocery shopping and healthy eating.
Media-trained while an editor at Woman’s Day Special Interest Publications, Leah quickly became the go-to expert for on-air demonstrations of family-related topics, including gift tips, etiquette advice, shopping suggestions, and money-saving ideas. She's appeared on "The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric," “Good Morning America,” CNBC’s “Market Wrap, Business Week TV, ABC News Now and "Good Day New York.” among other programs. Leah has been on television hundreds of times to share her expertise. In addition, she's acted as a spokesperson for many national brands, including those in the following sectors: financial (Chase, Bank of America, VISA Gift Cards), food (Starbucks, Florida Department of Citrus, Amaretto di Saronno), and fun (Game Crazy, Build a Bear Workshop). You may have also read her frugal-living advice in publications, such as BusinessWeek, The Christian Science Monitor and The Philadelphia Inquirer. When not appearing on TV, you can find Leah writing her blog or articles for national publications, including All You, Continental, Executive Travel, Good Housekeeping and Parenting, and blogging daily on Home Goes Strong (http://home.lifegoesstrong.com/leah-ingram), the NBC Universal platform on home-related topics, including entertaining. She is also the author of a dozen other books, such as Gifts Anytime! How to Find the Perfect Present for Any Occasion and The Everything Etiquette Book: A Modern Day Guide to Good Manners. Leah is a graduate of New York University and the Protocol School of Washington. She trained in TV hosting at TVI Actors Studio in New York City. Leah lives near Trenton, New Jersey, with her husband and two daughters.
