Deals on Healthy New Years Resolutions
When it comes to New Year’s resolutions, most Americans trend towards having healthy New Years resolutions or resolving to do something to improve their health. Here is what a recent survey on New Year’s resolutions found:
- Six in 10 Americans wanted to drop some pounds.
- One-third hoped to get more exercise this year.
- Twelve percent planned to join a gym.
You might think that companies that are in the business of encouraging people to make these healthy New Year’s resolutions would be charging more for their services now. You would be wrong.
I’ve tracked down deals that can help you save some money on your healthy New Years resolutions. Some of these deals help with exercise-related resolutions. Others help with healthy eating New Years resolutions.
I’ve listed the deals here in alphabetical order by company name.

Noom Weight Loss App
Are you trying to decide if you should try out the Noom app to lose weight? Let me tell you this–Noom works. Recently, I wrote an honest review of the Noom weight loss app. This Noom review includes Noom pros and cons. Whether for New Year’s resolutions or any other time of the year, I highly recommend that you check out Noom.
Last year my husband and I signed up with HelloFresh, because eating better was one of our healthy New Year’s resolutions. It’s one of a handful of meal subscription services we’ve tried recently, and it’s become one of our favorites.
We’ve loved everything this meal kit service has delivered to our front door and we’ve cooked at home. Even our picky-eater daughters have liked the meals from HelloFresh. HelloFresh offers a family plan that serves four, or you can sign up to get meals that serve two–perfect for the young couple or empty nester. HelloFresh makes it easy to keep those healthy new year’s resolutions. Get $40 off your first two boxes with Hello Fresh. No code necessary.
You’ve heard me talk about Peapod in the past. In fact, this Peapod review is one of the most popular posts on this blog. I write about how Peapod makes grocery shopping so much easier and that you can use coupons, even though you never have to step foot in the store. If you want to cook more at home as part of your resolutions but never have time to get to the grocery store, I strongly recommend you sign up for Peapod. My readers get a special discount to use–$20 off your first order. Hurry before this free offer expires.
Is self care one of your healthy New Years resolutions? I highly recommend it. When I say “self care,” I mean doing something regularly to take care of your body, mind and spirit. Last year I made a resolution to start getting massages on a regular basis, and since then, I’ve gone monthly for this kind of self care. One of the ways I save money paying for my massages is buying SpaFinder gift cards when you can get a discount on them like you can now–spend $100 on SpaFinder gift cards and you’ll get $10 off. So you’ll spend $90 for $100 worth of gift cards. That’s a 10% savings! Make sure you use promo code SPALOVING on spafinder.com.
I get all of my athletic, dress and everyday shoes from Zappos.com. If running is on your New Year’s resolutions list, you should check out the deals on running shoes and running attire on Zappos.com. Note: you can always wear this so-called “running” attire and footwear to the gym to do other activities as well.
If you have wide width feet like I do, check out my review on where you can shop for fashionable, affordable and comfortable wide-width shoes.
