If you’re a Bank of America customer like I am and a museum lover, then you likely look forward to the first weekend of every month so you can benefit from both. That’s because the Bank of America and Merrill Lynch Museums on Us program allow customers to participate in free museum days at more than 150 participating museums in 94 cities.
These free museum days are for Bank of America customers who can show an ATM card, debit card or credit card with the company’s logo on it when they enter the museum. You can get one free general admission per cardholder at a participating institution, excluding fundraising events, special exhibitions and ticketed shows the first full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) of each month in 2013.
In Philadelphia where I live, you can get free admission to some great cultural institutions, including the National Constitution Center and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, shown above. The program is giving bank cardholders free admission to some of America’s favorite museums and cultural institutions, including the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, IL, Brooklyn Children’s Museum in Brooklyn, NY, Perot Museum of Nature & Science in Dallas, TX and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in Los Angeles, CA. Here is a link to the list of all the participating museums nationwide.
