Since the idea of Prelude is to welcome the Christmas and holiday season in general, it’s always some time between Thanksgiving and mid-December. For 2024, Kennebunkport Prelude is December 5-15, 2024. You can expect parades (human and dog), food festivals, crafts to make and much more.

Getting photos with Santa at the mall is a timeless tradition for Mainers with children. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season. The closer we get to Christmas, the busier photos with Santa events get. Since our kids are grown, we took our dogs to see Santa instead.
