Gyms with Peloton Bikes

A reader recently reached out to ask if I had information about gyms with Peloton bikes. He’d read my articles on various Peloton hotels, vacation rentals with Peloton bikes and college towns with Pelotons. But, he explained, he likes to visit a “regular” gym when he travels for work so he can get his Peloton workout in. He doesn’t have a Peloton at home. However, he likes the workouts the bike provides so rides them away from home all the time. I’m sure he has an app membership.

How to Find Gyms with Peloton Bikes

This notion of finding a Peloton at a gym (versus paying for one at home) is novel and, dare I say, brilliant. It made me realize that of all the Peloton topics I’ve tackled in the past few years, gyms–like the YMCA or even Planet Fitness–with Pelotons was something I’d missed. Thus, this new article.

As I’ve done with so many of these Peloton guides, I’ve organized this information about gyms and workout facilities by location, in alphabetical order. Then, within each of the locations, I’ve listed places in alphabetical order. In addition, I’m going to say off the bat that this will be a work in progress.

As I come across additional gyms, Jewish Community Centers (lots of JCCs have Pelotons) or cycling studios that stock Pelotons, I’ll add them to this post. Finally, most gyms offer a free trial. So, if you can’t buy a day pass, you could always ask for a free trial for membership and then use the Peloton bikes that way.

Now, onto a geographical list of gyms across the United States with Peloton bikes on site. I haven’t had the chance to look for any fitness facilities in Canada with Peloton bikes, but it is on my to do list. If you know of any, please get in touch.

Gyms in San Diego

Toby Wells YMCA

The Toby Wells YMCA in San Diego added two Peloton bikes to its gym a few years ago. Can’t find a San Diego hotel with a Peloton? Ask about getting a day pass to this YMCA instead. Also, I know people are interested in gyms with Peloton bikes in Los Angeles. I’ll keep looking for them.

CB South Fitness

The CB South Fitness gym in Crested Butte has one Peloton bike. It’s been there since 2019 or so.

Gyms in Fort Collins

Alive by RainTree Athletic Club

There are multiple places on the Alive by RainTree Athletic Club website and Facebook page that mention having Pelotons there. One Boomerang video I found seemed to show eight Peloton bikes.

Gyms in Vail

Dryland Fitness

You may know Dryland Fitness in Vail as the Vail Athletic Club, which closed down in 2021. That older version of this fitness center had Peloton bikes, and so does Dryland Fitness. FYI, while Dryland Fitness has locations in Breckenridge, Denver, Vail and Winter Park, only the Vail location has the Pelotons.

Vail Racquet Club

If you want to ride the Peloton here, you’ll have to buy a day pass. According to my research, the daily drop in rate at the Vail Racquet Club was last listed as $35.

David Posnack JCC

There is one Peloton bike at the David Posnack JCC in Davie.

Gyms in Miami

Alper JCC

The gym at the Alper JCC added two Peloton bikes in 2018. To use them you’ll need to sign up online. 

Miami Dade College Kendall Campus

The fitness center at Miami Dade College Kendall Campus has Pelotons. 

Gyms in Pompano Beach

Fit & Fight Gym

The Fit & Fight Gym refers to itself as a Peloton gym. That’s because there is both a Peloton bike and a Peloton Tread on site for members to use.

Gyms in Tallahassee

Town Center Fitness

Last year Town Center Fitness in Tallahassee added Peloton bikes at the same time it was offering a $1 down deal for membership. If you’re in Tallahassee and need to get in a ride, I’d reach out and ask if they still have a similar deal going on.

There are at least two Peloton bikes at the Bayshore Fit gym.

Cowart Family YMCA

Located in Northeast Atlanta, the Cowart Family YMCA added two Peloton bikes to the gym floor a few years ago.

East Lake YMCA

It appears there are two Peloton bikes at the East Lake YMCA in Atlanta.

Marcus JCC of Atlanta

The Brill Family Fitness Center at the Marcus JCC of Atlanta has at least one Peloton bike.

Covington Family YMCA

I just learned that the Covington Family YMCA has at least two Peloton bikes for members to use. See the Facebook post, below. If you are a member of YMCA at your home, I would inquire about getting a guest pass to this Covington, Georgia location so you can use their Peloton cycle.

Forsyth County Family YMCA

You’ll need to use the Forsyth County Family YMCA’s online system to reserve one of the two Peloton bikes here.

Gyms in Kennesaw

Northwest Family YMCA

The Northwest Family YMCA in Kennesaw, GA, has one Peloton bike for members to use. It looks like you have to sign up 24 hours in advance to ride it. However, that may have changed this year. As with the Covington YMCA I’ve mentioned, above, I would ask if you could get a day pass to this Kennesaw, GA YMCA if you’re a member elsewhere. Finally, in case you didn’t know, Kennesaw is an Atlanta suburb.

Hatha Yoga & Fitness

From time to time, Hatha Yoga & Fitness will run a Peloton challenge for its members. When they complete a certain number of rides on one of the studio’s two bikes, they get entered into a contest to win goodies. Nothing like a Peloton incentive to get you moving.

There’s also a Peloton bike in the University of Illinois on-campus hotel, explained here.

There are two Anytime Fitness locations in Valparaiso, Indiana, but only the one in the Southwest section of town is the one with the two Peloton cycles.

The Lynx Fitness Club at the Boston Park Plaza hotel has three Peloton bikes.

The University Club of Boston

Thanks to the reader who reached out and requested I write this article, I know that The University Club of Boston has 10 Peloton bikes for members to use. Also, membership in The University Club of Boston gives you access to reciprocal clubs and fitness centers across the country. Not sure how many of them have Peloton bikes, though, but I will do some digging.

The Hemenway Gymnasium on the Harvard University Campus has Peloton bikes. It’s not clear if memberships or day passes are available to members of the public.

Sweat Studio Cape Cod

I’m kind of blown away with what Sweat Studio Cape Cod has done for its members. They’ve created an entire Peloton studio, with both Treads and bikes. There appears to be two Treads and at least six Peloton bikes.

You can take classes alongside others and then do work off the bike with one of their instructors. Recently, a group of members did a Jenn Sherman 80s ride altogether, dressed in 80s-inspired workout gear a la Olivia Newton-John “Let’s Get Physical.”

The Fitness 500 Club, located on Cape Cod, has a Peloton corner in the gym. There, you’ll find four Peloton cycles to use. All bikes appear to have shoe cages on the pedals.

Team 85 Fitness and Wellness

This South Jersey gym added four Peloton bikes last year. Here’s what you need to know about using the Pelotons at Team 85 Fitness and Wellness. One, you must reserve your time online. Two, you’re limited to one hour on the bikes. (Sidebar: since Peloton is offering fewer and fewer long classes, this shouldn’t be a problem.)

Three, you have to bring your own membership to the bike to log in. Four, if you’re more than 15 minutes late, you forfeit your time on the bike.

Thanks to this tweet I found, shown below, I can tell you that there are at least four Peloton bikes at the Chelsea Piers location in Brooklyn. FYI, it is in downtown Brooklyn.

As I mentioned at the top, this article on where you can find gyms with Peloton bikes will be a work in progress. So, as I come across new locations–or learn that old ones no longer have their Pelotons–I’ll be sure to update this post accordingly. Keep in mind this is not an article about hotel gyms with Peloton bikes.
