Target Circle Week Explained
As I predicted in this article about Amazon Prime Day, other retailers are offering their own shopping holidays. At one point we had Wayfair Way Day and then Target joined the fray with Target Deal Days shopping holiday in October.
Then in 2023 Target introduced Circle Week. And it’s only grown since then, especially with the announcement that Kristen Wiig’s SNL-inspired “Target Lady” character is now the legit pitch person for Target.

Anyway, what is Target Circle Week and how does it benefit you and me?Well, one, it is exclusive for Target Circle members. That’s Target’s loyalty program that is free to join.
Because I’m a Target Circle member, I got the birthday discount from the store on my phone (via the Target app) last year on my special day.
During Target Circle Week, you can shop online, in the app or at physical stores to save up to 50% off on national brands. Target has highlighted two brands that will be included in sales. They are Dyson and Keurig. I’m sure they won’t be the only ones.
FYI, the Dyson products that Target will have on special are home products, like vacuum cleaners. In fact, one deal I already know about is that you can save $130 on the Dyson V8 Origin Cordless Stick Vacuum.
Unfortunately, Target Circle Week does not include the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, which is on my must-have list. In fact, Target only sells a toy version of the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer and styling tools.
So, I guess I’ll be waiting for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to get that hair dryer. That sale starts on July 15 this year. However, as a Nordy Club member, I get to start shopping it earlier–on July 10.
Target store brands on sale
Also, you’ll find deals on Target store brands. Some of these private Target owned brands include Sun Squad, Good & Gather and Cat & Jack.
Save this article and we’ll send it to your inbox. Plus, we’ll send you more great links each week.
Some of the Target Circle Weeks savings on these store brands include 50% off select Sun Squad items, such as outdoor pools, water toys and more.
Cat & Jack guarantee
Also, an important thing you should know about the Target brand Cat & Jack. Cat & Jack clothing for kids comes with a one-year warranty or guarantee. So, if anything goes wrong with the clothing, you can bring it back to Target for your money back.
However, you will need your receipt in order to get the money-back guarantee. Yet another reason to download the Target Circle app. The app keeps a record of your past purchases and lets you start a return right in the app.
Also, the app keeps a record of these purchases based on how you shopped. You can slide the bar in the app for online purchases or in-store.
Also, you can use the search window to find specific things you’d purchased, which makes it easier to find that receipt you might need. That’s super handy.
Target Circle Week deals
Target Circle Week starts on April 7, 2024 and goes through April 14, 2023. Circle members like me can save up to 40% on food and beverage, beauty, everyday essentials, electronics and more.
Here’s a first look at some of the top savings. Target will reveal addition deals on Target.com on Sunday, April 7.
Top deals for April 7-13 include:
- 30% off select kids’ apparel
- Spend $40 on beauty and health products, receive a $10 Target gift card
- 20% off all Barbie
- 20% off Mountain Dew, Bubly and Gatorade
- 20% off breakfast cereal
- Spend $50 on household essentials, receive a $15 Target gift card
- Save $350 on Lenovo 15.6″ Touchscreen IdeaPad 3i laptop
- Save $30 on Keurig K-Mini. The Keurig K-Mini is great for college dorm rooms.
All of these deals are in Target stores as well as online and on the Target app.
That means that when shopping from the app or online, you’ll have the option of doing Target Drive Up–my favorite way to shop at Target.
Drive Up and Order Pickup are usually ready as soon as two hours with no minimum purchase and no membership fee required.
Right after this event is over, then the Target Car Seat Trade In program begins.
New version of the Target Circle program
In March 2024, Target announced they were changing the Target Circle program. The new changes take effect April 7, 2024. Now, there will be three levels to the program. Two are still free for shoppers to use.
Basic Target Circle
I’m calling it basic Target Circle because this version is the same as the old one. Nothing really changes, except for this: you’ll no longer have to search in the app for coupons and deals. Target says deals will now be applied automatically at checkout. Also, you’ll still be able to Target Circle Rewards and take advantage of personalized deals through Target Circle Bonuses.
Target Circle Card
To save even more at Target, you can apply for a Target Circle Card, previously known as Target RedCard and they’ll get an extra 5% off every day. Also, this card comes with additional benefits, such as extra time to return items and free two-day shipping on hundreds of thousands of items on Target.com. Get details here about free two-day shipping.
Target Circle 360
This is the new, paid subscription service from Target. My guess is they’re going down this road to compete with Walmart+ and Amazon Prime. Anyway, Target Circle 360 costs $99 annually. However, you can reduce that annual fee to $49 if you add the Target Circle Card to your account. With this paid service, some of the benefits include:
- unlimited free same-day delivery for orders over $35 in as little as an hour with no delivery fees or markups
- free two-day shipping on qualifying items
- access to Shipt Marketplace, which offers same-day delivery from more than 100 retailers nationwide (though not sure if this means Shipt will be free to use at Target now)
