Illinois Hotels with Peloton Bikes

Originally, the information about Illinois hotels with Peloton bikes was folded into my article about Chicago Peloton hotels.

That was because Chicago seemed to be the only Illinois location with Peloton bikes in hotel gyms and rooms.

However, in the past few years, more hotels have added Pelotons.

Therefore I decided to write this separate article about Illinois hotels where you’re likely to find at least one Peloton bike on site.

I’ve listed non-Chicago locations here in alphabetical order.

These are all towns and cities with at least one hotel with a Peloton.

Some of these places are considered part of the greater Chicagoland area.

In fact, some even have “Chicago” in their name, even though they are outside the city limits.

However, it felt right to include them in this article.

Peloton bike recall and hotel bikes

Peloton recently recalled original bikes because the seat post has broken a couple dozen times and injured riders.

Which Peloton bikes are affected

So, which bikes are affected?

Original Peloton model Bikes sold from January 2018 to May 2023 in the United States.
Peloton original Bike sold in the United States only.

It does not affect the following Peloton bikes:

Peloton bikes sold internationally
North America Bike+ models
International Peloton Bikes

I’m sorry to report that many hotels in the United States have unplugged their Peloton bikes, because they are most likely affected by this recall.

Champaign

I Illinois Hotel and Conference Center

The I Illinois Hotel and Conference Center is on the campus of the University of Illinois.

Its fitness center has at least one Peloton bike there.

Evanston hotel with Peloton bikes

Graduate Hotel Evanston

Near Northwestern University, the Graduate Hotel Evanston seems to be the only hotel with a Peloton bike in this college town on Lake Michigan.

Lincolnshire, Illinois hotel with Pelotons

Courtyard Chicago Lincolnshire

I spied one Peloton bike in the hotel gym at the Courtyard Chicago Lincolnshire.

Also, I saw at least two Echelon bikes–if that’s your preference.

Marriott Hotel Brands

Finally, many Marriott hotels have amenities worth noting.

This includes Peloton bikes (sometimes the Peloton Tread), Hydrow Rowers or Tonal/lululemon Studio smart gyms, plus electric vehicle charging.

Westin Chicago Lombard

At one time the Westin Chicago Lombard may have had Peloton cycles in the gym.

However, now there’s only one way to ride one while staying here.

You have to book the Peloton Workout Room in the hotel.

It is one of the Westin Workout rooms and suites.

Le Meridien Chicago

This suburban Chicago hotel, Le Meridien Chicago, has three Peloton bikes in the gym and fitness center.

Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel

Thanks to the Facebook post below, I can confirm that there are two Peloton bikes at the Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel.

Westin O’Hare

There are two Peloton bikes at the Westin O’Hare. See photo below.

Also, at one point the actual O’Hare airport had Pelotons that travelers could ride during a layover as this airport trade magazine article explains.

I need to double check to see if that riding option is still available.

Tinley Park, Illinois hotel with Pelotons

Even Hotel Chicago-Tinley Park-Convention Center

If you want to use the Peloton bike at the Even Hotel Chicago-Tinley Park-Convention Center, you’ll need to book the Two Room Wellness Suite.

Here is how the hotel describes that suite:

“Two Room Wellness Suite comes equipped with a Peloton bike and other fitness equipment to keep you active. The package also includes breakfast for 2.”

Westin Chicago North Shore

The Westin Chicago North Shore has one Peloton in the gym.

Hilton Hotel Finder

In Fall 2022 Hilton hotels announced that they were putting Peloton bikes in every U.S. Hilton hotel by year’s end.

That’s great news for Peloton users.

However, in early 2023, my husband stayed at an Embassy Suites by Hilton hotel in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and there was not a Peloton in sight in the hotel gym.

So, caveat emptor.

Also, not all Hilton hotels have Hilton in the name, though many do.

Therefore, if you’re looking for a Hilton hotel, you should know all of the brands in the Hilton family.

Tempo by Hilton Wellness Room with Peloton Bike

Finally, even if a Hilton hotel doesn’t have a Peloton bike, you may want to book a stay in a Five Feet to Fitness room. These guestrooms have workout centers in them, including 11 different pieces of cardio and strength equipment.
