Guide to Peloton Showrooms and Store Locations
When we first got our bike, there were no Peloton showrooms near me. At that time barely anyone even knew what a Peloton was–except for hardcore cyclists. To them a peloton (lowercase p) was a group of cyclists.
Fast forward a few years and we’ve moved to Western Pennsylvania, close to Pittsburgh. I was so excited to discover a Peloton store location in the Ross Park Mall. In fact, it was at that showroom where I did my 900th cycling class. That was back when you could take milestone rides at Peloton stores.

So, you may be wondering when milestone rides or runs will start up again in stores? Or maybe you need to know if you can buy cycling shoes at a Peloton store? Or perhaps you ended up at this article because you were looking for a Peloton showroom nearest to you.
Update: In August 2022 Peloton announced that they would be closing stores and showrooms across the county. Once I get a list of those closures, I’ll update the list in this article.
Come check out my new PeloZone Blog!
Because of the popularity of my Peloton content and my Peloton expertise–I’ve been a Peloton user since 2016–I’ve decided to start a new blog devoted entirely to Peloton content.
It’s called the PeloZone. Most recently, I added an article about Peloton mobility and stretching classes.
But, before you head over there, head to Amazon, where, through 12/6/23, Peloton accessories are on sale by as much as 50%.
Why write about Peloton store locations
The purpose behind writing this guide to Peloton showrooms and store locations is two fold. One, I want to provide a directory of information about brick and mortar places with Pelotons. That’s the first half of this article.
It’s kind of like my Peloton hotel guide tells you which hotels here and abroad have bikes. People may not realize that Peloton has physical locations beyond its two studios.
And, two, even though I have an FAQ post about Peloton, I wanted to answer showroom-specific questions. So, I’ve done a roundup of the most common ones I get asked. This appears in the second half of this article.
Where are the Peloton store locations
According to my research, right now there are 80+ Peloton store locations in 31 different states in the United States. Some states have more than one showroom. States like Florida, New York, Texas and California have more than five.
Now, with the news in 2022 that Peloton was trimming its workforce, it’s entirely possible that this number of showrooms could shrink in the future. If I find out about any Peloton store closures, I’ll be sure to update this article accordingly.
Of course, there are Peloton showrooms in Canada and abroad. I’ve tried to include all of that information in this article, too.
Finally, now there is a virtual Peloton store on Amazon.

NYC Peloton Stores
I’ve created a separate section devoted to the NYC Peloton store. Why? Because Peloton is headquartered in New York City.
Plus, the city and its suburbs, including Long Island, have some of the largest clusters of Peloton locations. In Manhattan you’ll find Peloton stores at Hudson Yards (where the studio is), the Upper East Side and Lower Manhattan (Brookfield Place).
The flagship Peloton store used to be on 23rd Street in Chelsea. From what I can tell, that retail store is still there and is referred to as PSNY Showroom. This is a picture I took there in 2020.
Also, when I rode in the reopened Peloton NYC studios in June 2022, I saw two Peloton stores. One was in the upstairs portion of the studio. However, I’m not sure if you can actually buy things there. I didn’t see any registers. You can see the clothing racks and equipment in the background of this picture.
The other Peloton store was right across the Plaza from that top level of the studio. That seemed like a full-service Peloton showroom with bikes, Treads and more to try out. I took this picture as I walked by.

No Peloton store locations in these places
I know that there are dozens of Peloton store locations across the United States. Unfortunately, there are some popular places that don’t have one.
For example, you may assume a popular town like Orlando, Florida, has a Peloton store. But, nope. You’d have to drive to Tampa to try out a Peloton at a brick and mortar showroom.
Another example: it appears there was a pop-up Peloton shop in East Hampton a few years ago, and people still ask about Peloton in the Hamptons. However, I couldn’t find any evidence of it being there anymore.
In addition, one of the places without Peloton stores is Hawaii. It’s not surprising that there aren’t any Peloton stores there since Peloton explains that it does not deliver to “remote areas” and other locations accessible only by ferry.
So, below is a list of locations people have inquired about where, as I said, unfortunately, there is no Peloton showroom to speak of.
However, now you can shop Peloton products online at Amazon.

Questions about shopping at Peloton showrooms and store locations
This section of the article focuses on common questions about what you can and cannot buy at the Peloton store. Also, it includes information about topics related to Peloton showrooms.
What are Peloton store hours?
Hours depend on where the Peloton showroom is located. For example, many are in malls. Therefore, they open when the mall opens and close when the mall closes.
I would imagine that freestanding locations outside of malls are free to set their own store hours. So check with the place near you to get the exact details.
Can you take a class at Peloton showrooms?
While the stores still aren’t letting you do milestone rides at this time, at least this past summer they were having summer Friday rides. To coincide with the Peloton NYC and London studios reopening on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to members, stores are letting you take live classes in the stores at 5:00 or 5:30–depending on the live schedule.
Do Peloton showrooms have showers?
No, the Peloton store locations do not have showers. However, the ones I’ve visited do have a bathroom. These bathrooms are often stocked with some toiletries. This can help you freshen up if you get sweaty after taking a test ride or run on a Peloton.
Can you buy a Peloton in a store?
The answer is yes but with a caveat. I know plenty of people who went to a Peloton showroom for a test ride or run, and walked out having purchased one. In fact, many Peloton stores have private rooms where you can test the equipment, such as the one shown here.
Now, just because you can place your order for a Peloton in the store doesn’t mean you can walk out with one like you would when buying sports equipment at Dicks Sporting Goods or Costco. No, you’ll have to wait to have your Peloton delivered. However, you can arrange all that at the store when you make your purchase.
Here is a review of my delivery experience when getting my Peloton Bike Plus.
Is there clothing available for sale at the Peloton store?
Every Peloton store I’ve ever visited did have clothing available for sale. Usually, it’s just the basics, like sports bras and leggings. Some bigger stores have much more available.
For example, the photo below is of a Peloton store in Dallas. (There are three Peloton stores in the Dallas Metroplex.) You can see how well stocked the clothing racks are.
Also, I realize this is an older picture because it features the now-recalled Peloton Tread plus. But you get the idea about how much clothing some stores might carry.
However, let me add that there are certain Peloton store locations that do not carry apparel. For example, showrooms that are in a pop-up space don’t have room for clothing. Also, certain Peloton showrooms in the United Kingdom and elsewhere abroad carry hardware only.
Will I be able to buy or pick up my Century Shirt at the Peloton store?
No. Peloton stores do not sell Century Shirts. I mean, then wouldn’t everyone have one? You get your Century Shirt by communicating with Peloton support after completing your 100th class.
This article on Peloton milestones includes info on getting your shirt.
Can you buy accessories at the Peloton store?
Absolutely. However, I’m not sure if you can walk out with weights, resistance bands or even the Peloton Guide. Because if they’re handled the way the big equipment hardware is, Peloton will have to ship it to you. However, you can absolutely place your order or make your purchase inside the store.
But other accessories? Like workout towels, Peloton water bottles and the like? Yes, you can buy them at the store and take them home with you.
Do all of the Peloton locations stock the same apparel
No. How much inventory is on hand depends on the size of the store. Also, Peloton has started creating location-specific apparel and swag. For example, I took the picture below at the Pittsburgh store at the Ross Park Mall. You can see the Peloton Pittsburgh shirt.
Also, apparel is the one thing you can buy in the Peloton store and go home with. You do not have to have items shipped to you, unless they’re back ordered or you need a different size.
Can you return apparel to a Peloton store?
Yes, you can return apparel to a Peloton store. This article on Peloton returns explains more about that.
Does the Peloton store sell shoes?
You cannot go home with a pair of Peloton shoes from the store. However, you can try on a pair. Then, the store will order them for you and have them shipped to your house.
I would recommend taking the time to visit the store to try on shoes, if you’re committed to getting the Peloton brand. Because it will save you the hassle of exchanging the shoes for another size if they don’t fit.
Recently, I visited the Peloton store Pittsburgh at the Ross Park Mall and tried on the Peloton Altos shoes. They were so comfortable.
Can I get a Peloton bike fitting at the store?
Absolutely. The staff at any of the Peloton locations can help you figure out your settings on the bike. Keep in mind that it will be their best guess as to where you should put your handlebars or how you should move your bike seat.
For a professional bike fit, I highly recommend Team Wilpers, instructor Matt Wilpers company.
