Peloton Turkey Burn
I experienced the Peloton Turkey Burn classes the first full year we had our bike. What is Peloton Turkey Burn? It’s a series of classes that Peloton broadcasts on Thanksgiving.
In year’s past Turkey Burn classes were all live, but without riders in the studio. However, in 2022, Peloton opened up some of the Turkey Burn classes for in-studio riders at the NYC Studios.

Unfortunately, those classes sold out in minutes, and I don’t think any waitlist spots have opened for them. In 2025, there are three Turkey Burn classes live in the Peloton NYC studios on Thanksgiving. There’s a run, a ride and a row.
Idea behind Turkey Burn classes

So, what’s the idea behind these classes? Well, if you’re in the United States, then you’re likely going to eat a lot of food on Thanksgiving.
These classes give you the opportunity to get on your Peloton bike before or after the meal. I cover Turkey Burn classes in my post about Peloton special events.
Think of it like a local Turkey Trot you might sign up for on Thanksgiving morning. The Turkey Burn Peloton classes are built around the same idea. Spend some time on Thursday morning getting exercise and then you can relax the rest of the day with your family on Thanksgiving.
What time are Turkey Burn classes
Peloton has scheduled all of the Turkey Burn classes for Thanksgiving morning. That would be morning on the East Coast.
I realize that’s not fair to West Coast riders–will they really get up at 5:00 a.m for a class on Thanksgiving?
In 2025, there are three live Turkey Burn classes with members in the studio. The first one starts at 9:00 a.m. The next is at 10:00 a.m. and the last at 11:00 a.m. Again, all times are Eastern. The last Turkey Burn class starts at 11:00. Again, all times are Eastern.
However, in the days and weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, you’re likely to find other Turkey Burn-themed classes on the schedule.
Who is teaching Turkey Burn classes
This year there are three Turkey Burn classes on Thursday. The instructors are:
- Kristen Ferguson
- Robin Arzon
- Ash Pryor
It’s a tradition to have Robin teaching one of these classes. I took my first one with her back in 2017.
Turkey Burn Badges
Just like other Peloton special events, you’ll get a special badge for taking this class. In 2023, I got one badge for taking a Turkey Burn class live and then a second badge for taking a Turkey Burn class on demand.
I just went into my profile to search for these badges and found the ones from 2023. See them below. However, all of my other badges only go back to 2021. So I can’t share with you what the badge from 2017 looks like.

Past Turkey Burn classes in the Peloton archives
You can always use the Peloton search function to find past Turkey Burn workouts. This is a great option if you want to stack more of these classes.
For example, there are many different versions of the original Turkey Burn rides. This includes Turkey Trot runs and a Turkey Burn yoga flow. So all kinds of Turkey Burn workout classes to choose from.
