What is Peloton Roll Call
In May 2022 Peloton introduced Roll Call classes.
The idea behind Roll Call was this: every weekday, at 7:30 a.m., you could count on taking a strength class with one of the Peloton instructors.
They called these Roll Call classes.
These are strength training classes, each one focusing on a different body part.
You can use the Peloton search function to find Roll Call classes.
What is Peloton Roll Call?
When I took that premiere class with Jess Sims on May 2, she explained that Roll Call would bookend the week (Monday and Friday) with a full body class.
Then, each of the other days in the week would focus on a specific body part.
So, Tuesday could be lower body, Wednesday core and Thursday upper body.
The idea was to give you a well-rounded and reliable weight training schedule to follow each week.
Save this article and we’ll send it to your inbox. Plus, we’ll send you more great links each week.
However, since its debut in 2022, the schedule for Roll Call classes has changed a bit.
What is the Roll call schedule
As I mentioned, when Peloton started Roll call, there were classes every weekday at 7:30 a.m. Eastern.
Now the days and the times are scattered.
That is, there are still some 7:30 a.m. Eastern classes.
However, there are also 5:00 p.m. Eastern classes.
Some are live, others are Encore classes.
One week of Peloton Roll Call classes
For example, in the week that I’m writing this article, here are the Roll Call classes I could take over a seven-day period.
- Monday: Live 20-minute Roll Call: Full Body class with Rebecca Kennedy at 7:30 a.m. Eastern
- Monday: Encore 20-minute Roll Call: Glutes & Legs class with Adrian Williams at 5 p.m. Eastern
- Tuesday: Live 20-minute Roll Call: Glutes & Legs class with Adrian Williams at 7:30 a.m. Eastern
- Tuesday: Encore 15-minute Roll Call: Core class with Callie Gullickson at 5:00 p.m. Eastern
- Wednesday: Encore 20-minute Roll Call: Upper Body class with Jermaine Johnson at 5 p.m. Eastern
- Thursday: Live 20-minute Roll Call: Upper Body class with Ben Alldis at 7:30 a.m. Eastern
- Thursday: Encore 20-minute Roll Call: Full Body class with Rad Lopez at 5 p.m. Eastern
- Friday: Live 30-minute Roll Call: Bodyweight class with Rad Lopez at 7:30 a.m. Eastern
- Sunday: Encore 20-minute Roll Call: Full Body class with Rebecca Kennedy at 5 p.m. Eastern
As you can see, two things have changed.
One, Roll Call classes are no longer on weekdays only.
And, two, these classes aren’t always held at 7:30 a.m.
Can you take Roll Call live
If you’re working out from home, then, yes you can take Roll Call classes live.
That is, you can tune in on the Peloton app, Roku TV or via the hardware to take this strength class.
And as far as taking classes live at the Peloton studio, it’s possible to take Roll Call classes at PSNY but they’re rare.
For example, in the next six weeks, there is just one with Rad Lopez at PSNY, and it is fully booked.
On the other hand, I didn’t find any live Roll Call classes you could take at the London Peloton studios.
How many Roll Call Classes are there
I got the sense that Peloton introduced Roll Call classes as a complement to the Peloton Guide.
And, in fact, in the Peloton Picks Guide Collection of classes, you’ll find almost three dozen of these Roll Call classes.
Since that debut class at the beginning of May 2022, Peloton instructors have recorded nearly 100 Roll Call classes.
Who teaches Roll Call?
Basically, all of the Peloton strength instructors, save for a few, teach Roll Call classes.
Here’s a list of Peloton instructors leading Roll Call:
- Logan Aldridge
- Ben Alldis
- Callie Gullickson
- Jermaine Johnson
- Rebecca Kennedy
- Matty Maggiacomo
- Jess Sims
- Selena Samuela
- Andy Speer

However, there are other strength classes in the Peloton Guide picks collection.
These are not labeled Roll Call.
They are classes with the following instructors:
- Olivia Amato
- Robin Arzon
- Emma Lovewell
- Tunde Oyeneyin
