Virginia Hotels with Peloton Bikes

When looking for Virginia hotels with Peloton bikes, you may be looking for different kinds of places to stay. One, you might be traveling to Washington, DC and are looking to stay in the Northern Virginia suburbs or a hotel in Maryland near the District.

Two, maybe you’re planning a beach vacation on the Delmarva, Williamsburg or Virginia Beach. Three you could be traveling to the state’s capital, Richmond or a college town like Charlottesville. And, finally, you may be planning a trip to the mountains.

Obviously, there are lots of different places to travel to in Virginia. Not surprisingly, there are many different hotels where you can stay and find a Peloton bike in the gym.

Below, you’ll find a list of Virginia hotels with Peloton bikes. One, the list appears in alphabetical order by location.

Then, within each city or town, hotels are listed in alphabetical order as well. Finally, you may find that I have not included hotels listed on other Peloton-related sites. Let me explain why.

I’ve fact-checked each property in this post. So, you can feel confident that you’re getting the most up-to-date information on where you can stay in Virginia and find a Peloton on site.

Peloton bike recall and hotel bikes

Peloton recently recalled original bikes because the seat post has broken a couple dozen times and injured riders.

Which Peloton bikes are affected

So, which bikes are affected?

  • Original Peloton model Bikes sold from January 2018 to May 2023 in the United States.
  • Peloton original Bike sold in the United States only.

It does not affect the following Peloton bikes:

  • Peloton bikes sold internationally
  • North America Bike+ models
  • International Peloton Bikes

I’m sorry to report that many hotels in the United States have unplugged their Peloton bikes, because they are most likely affected by this recall.

Arlington

The Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Reagan National Airport

You can see two of the bikes at The Hyatt Regency Crystal City on this photo page of the hotel’s Expedia listing.

The Westin Crystal City Reagan National Airport

The Westin Crystal City Reagan National Airport hotel has two Peloton bikes in the Westin Workout Fitness center. It looks like the pedals have shoe or toe cages on them.

Chantilly, Virginia

Residence Inn Chantilly Dulles South

The Residence Inn Chantilly Dulles South lists Peloton stationary bikes as “additional equipment” in the fitness center. I’m trying to determine if they are using Peloton generically for any spin bike.

Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles

When I visited the fitness center page for the Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles hotel, I saw the Peloton bike featured right there.

Chesapeake, Virginia

Delta Hotels Chesapeake Norfolk

If you’re staying in the Virginia Beach area and want to ride a Peloton, check out the Delta Hotels Chesapeake Norfolk. In fact, the hotel has even been promoting the single Peloton bike at the hotel on its Instagram account.

Finally, you can’t see the pedals in this picture, but friends have told me the pedals have toe cages or Peloton strap pedals. That means you can ride with regular gym shoes–no special cycling shoes necessary.

Charlottesville, Virginia, hotels

Boar’s Head Resort

The University of Virginia Foundation owns the Boar’s Head Resort. This property announced on Facebook (see below) that it was adding Peloton bikes in the room.

Courtyard Charlottesville University Medical Center

There are two Peloton bikes at the Courtyard Charlottesville University Medical Center.

FYI, the UVA Medical Center is adjacent to the University of Virginia campus.

Graduate Hotel Charlottesville

Located across the street from the UVA campus, the Graduate Hotel Charlottesville has a Peloton bike in its fitness center.

This article focuses on college towns like Charlottesville with Peloton hotels.

Fairfax, Virginia

Residence Inn Fairfax City

The Peloton bike at the Residence Inn Fairfax City is listed on the fitness center as “additional equipment.” However, I found a picture of it on the hotel’s website.

Marriott Hotel Brands

Looking for a Marriott hotel finder for a future stay when you can earn points as part of the Marriott Bonvoy rewards program?

Then make sure you familiarize yourself with all of the various Marriott brands. 

These brands many not all have Marriott in their names, but they are all part of the Marriott family:

Finally, many Marriott hotels have amenities worth noting.

This includes Peloton bikes (sometimes the Peloton Tread), Hydrow Rowers or Tonal/lululemon Studio smart gyms, plus electric vehicle charging.

Herndon, Virginia

Hyatt Regency Dulles

The Peloton bike at the Hyatt Regency Dulles airport hotel sits overlooking the indoor pool. From the picture I saw on Expedia for the hotel, the pedals have shoe or toe cages.

Hot Springs, Virginia

Omni Homestead Resort

Thanks to reviews on TripAdvisor, I was able to confirm that the Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs has two Peloton bikes in the hotel gym.

Irvington, Virginia

The Tides Inn

The Tides Inn is set on its own peninsula in the charming town of Irvington on Virginia’s Northern Neck. That would be on the shores of the Rappahannock River, which feeds into the nearby Chesapeake Bay. Watery landmarks aside, you’ll find one Peloton bike in the 24/7 fitness center.

Lovingston, Virginia

Orchard House Bed and Breakfast

The Orchard House Bed and Breakfast updated its TripAdvisor listing to include mention of the Peloton bike it now has on property. It says:

“Stay with us and have free access to our newest guest amenity: our Peloton bike!”

Middleburg, Virginia

The Salamander Resort and Spa

Described as being in Washington, D.C. horse and wine country, the Salamander Resort and Spa mentions nothing on the hotel website about Pelotons. However, if you visit the hotel’s Facebook page, you’ll see them promoting the two Peloton bikes in the hotel gym. See picture, below.

However, since originally writing this blog post, I’ve learned that the Salamander Resort lets you book a private Peloton bike for in-room use. Here are the details:

“$75 first night and $50 each additional night, plus tax and service charge. Rentals must be for the duration of the guests’ stay.”

Finally, the Salamander Resort has Tonals on site, too.

Reston, Virginia hotels with Pelotons

Hyatt Regency Reston

The Hyatt Regency Reston has a lot to offer. One, it is located centrally in the Dulles Technology Corridor, adjacent to the shops, dining, and entertainment at Reston Town Center and near the DC Metro Silver Line.

Two, it’s one of the largest hotels near Dulles International Airport. And, three, it has Peloton bikes.

Richmond, Virginia hotels with Pelotons

Jefferson Hotel Richmond

The Jefferson Hotel Richmond recently added two Peloton bikes to the hotel gym.

The Westin Richmond

If you book a stay at the Westin Richmond, you can ride a Peloton bike in one of two ways. One, you can use the Peloton in the Westin Workout Fitness Studio.

Or, two, you can book the one Westin Peloton Room–a guest room with its own private Peloton bike.

Here is how the hotel describes it:

“Our hotel features a private WestinWORKOUT® Peloton guestroom.”

Tysons Corner, Virginia

Archer Hotel Tysons

I’m told there is one Peloton bike at Archer Hotel Tysons.

Tysons Corner Marriott

I spied two Peloton bikes in the hotel gym at the Tysons Corner Marriott in Northern Virginia.

In fact, I grabbed the photo below from the hotel website.

Virginia Beach

Marriott Resort Virginia Beach Oceanfront

The Marriott Resort Virginia Beach Oceanfront just went through an extensive renovation. Part of that renovation included adding two Peloton bikes to the hotel gym. You can see the hotel’s promotion of them in the Facebook post I’ve included below.

FYI, this hotel is located just off the north end of the famous Virginia Beach boardwalk. Also, it is a part of The Cavalier Resort, with The Historic Cavalier Hotel & Beach Club.

Hilton Hotel Finder

In Fall 2022 Hilton hotels announced that they were putting Peloton bikes in every U.S. Hilton hotel by year’s end.

That’s great news for Peloton users.

However, in early 2023, my husband stayed at an Embassy Suites by Hilton hotel in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and there was not a Peloton in sight in the hotel gym.

So, caveat emptor.

Also, not all Hilton hotels have Hilton in the name, though many do.

Therefore, if you’re looking for a Hilton hotel, you should know all of the brands in the Hilton family.

I’ve included a link directly to each Hilton brand so you can book a room directly with Hilton.

Tempo by Hilton Wellness Room with Peloton Bike

Finally, even if a Hilton hotel doesn’t have a Peloton bike, you may want to book a stay in a Five Feet to Fitness room. These guestrooms have workout centers in them, including 11 different pieces of cardio and strength equipment.

Final thoughts on Virginia Hotels with Peloton Bikes

Clearly, if I have missed any hotels or resorts in Virginia that do, in fact, have Pelotons on property, please reach out and let me know.
