How did I land on the topic of 32 brands with lifetime warranties? Well, I’ve been writing for a long time about the long-term value of guarantees.

I believe that when you spend your hard-earned money on something it should last. And if it doesn’t last, then the company should stand behind the product and fix or replace it for free–or for a nominal fee.

In that time of covering products guaranteed for life, I’ve come across way more than 32 brands with lifetime warranties. In fact, I’ve probably been able to dig up 50 or more brand with lifetime warranties.

I’ve covered them in my outdoor gear story, my blog post on gifts with a lifetime guarantee and my article on products guaranteed for life.

But with so many people doing their shopping right now on Amazon and Amazon Prime Day around the corner, I thought it was a good time to focus on brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

One, you can enjoy the convenience of shopping on Amazon.

And two, you can enjoy the peace of mind knowing that the company making the item you’ve bought will stand behind it.

Finally, here are some suggestions on what to buy on Amazon during Amazon Prime Day.

Finally, keep in mind that with guarantees and warranties, these are design to cover design failures and the like. These do not cover normal wear and tear from daily or regular use. Also, they’re meant to cover normal, non-commercial use. Now that I’ve listed the brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon, I’m going to get into more details about each of the companies that I’ve found.

I’ll tell you what I can about their lifetime guarantee, such as is it a balls-to-the-walls lifetime warranty or a limited lifetime warranty.

After that, I’ll showcase a few products from each company.

Now, here are the 32 brands. They are listed below in alphabetical order.

Arc’teryx

Arc’teryx is the first brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

If you’re not familiar with Arc’teryx, the company specializes in technical high-performance apparel, outerwear and equipment, including backpacks and daypacks.

Here is the lifetime warranty for Arc’teryx:

“Arc’teryx is proud of the quality and performance of all our products. Items covered under our Limited Warranty will be replaced or repaired at the discretion of Arc’teryx for the practical product lifespan. Product damaged through wear and tear, misuse, or neglect may be repaired at a reasonable price.”

Briggs & Riley

Briggs & Riley is the third brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

As far as the Briggs & Riley lifetime guarantee, the company includes it in its tagline: “Engineered for reality. Guaranteed for life.”

Camelbak

Camelbak is the fourth brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

In fact, our family has been using Camelbak water bottles for years. Also, Camelbak makes hydration packs and vests.

The company’s lifetime guarantee is called the “Got Your Bak Lifetime Guarantee.” That is, Camelbak says it “will repair or replace at its discretion any manufacturing defect in these products free of charge.”

Carhartt

Carhartt is the fifth brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

The company doesn’t just sell work clothes, such as coats and vests. There are Carhartt jeans, Carhartt boots, Carhartt hats and more.

Also, Carhartt makes clothing and gear for all ages. And, the Carhartt warranty covers it all.

Columbia Sportswear

Columbia is the sixth brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

Here’s what you have to know about Columbia Sportswear and the Columbia lifetime guarantee.

It is technically a limited lifetime guarantee “that covers defects in materials and workmanship for the practical lifetime of Columbia Sportswear brand products manufactured by Columbia Sportswear.”

So, a warranty that means they stand behind their products. However, Columbia may not cover a legit lifetime. Good to know.

Cutco Knives

Cutco is the seventh brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

It calls its lifetime warranty “The Forever Guarantee.” Here is how Cutco describes that guarantee:

“If at any time you are not satisfied with the performance of your Cutco product we’ll make it right. Whether you made the initial purchase or you received Cutco as a gift, it’s our guarantee that your Cutco products will perform like new. Forever.”

The knife set below is the one we have and have used for years. What’s great about the case is that when you store the knives in the slots, they’re automatically sharpened.

Dakine

Dakine is the eighth brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

In addition to backpacks, Dakine makes all kinds of bags along with tablet protective covers and luggage guaranteed for life. Dakine also makes lunchboxes and coolers.

On the one hand, the company offers a limited lifetime warranty. On the other hand, this lifetime guarantee is against manufacturing defects within the normal scope of use–that’s it.

Darn Tough Socks

Darn Tough Socks brand is the ninth brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

When it comes to the Darn Tough Socks warranty, they’ll only honor their stance of “Unconditionally guaranteed for life” if you buy from one of their verified retailers.

Lucky for you, Amazon is one such verified retailer.

Davek Umbrellas

Davek Umbrellas is the 10th brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

Its lifetime guarantee is quite generous. Here is how the brand explains it.

“All Davek umbrellas are covered under our famous Unconditional Lifetime Guarantee: If your umbrella should fail to function properly at any time for any reason whatsoever, we will gladly repair or replace it for free (except shipping). Forever. We want this to be the last umbrella you will ever need.”

Yes, the umbrellas are a bit pricey. However, if it’s the last umbrella you ever have to buy, that will be money well spent.

Dickies

Dickies clothing brand is the 11th brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

The brand serves many different markets. Those working in agriculture or construction may wear Dickies. In addition, Dickies brand makes school uniforms.

The company also supplies chef whites and other kitchen-related clothing, and scrubs for those working in the healthcare industry.

Here are discounts for healthcare workers and first responders.

Finally, Dickies makes everyday, regular clothing, too. I can remember wearing Dickies cargo pants back in the day.

Also, some Dickies clothing qualifies from Amazon Prime Try Before Your Buy.

Those in the sports and fitness arena swear by Feetures socks.

Henckels

Henckels is the 14th brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

The Zwilling Company owns Henckels, which makes high quality cutlery sets and kitchen accessories.

“All of our products are fully guaranteed against defects in materials and / or craftsmanship,” says the Henckels lifetime guarantee.

Jansport

Jansport is the 15th brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

It is one of the first companies I learned about with a lifetime guarantee. As a parent with children who took Jansport backpacks to school, even on to college, I loved knowing that the company would stand behind its products–and continues to do so today. Kobalt

Kobalt is the 16th brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

This is toolmaker Kobalt’s guarantee:

“You should never have a problem with your Kobalt tool. However, if you do, return the item to the place of purchase for a free replacement. No questions asked.”

Le Creuset

Le Creuset is the 17th brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

This maker of high-end cookware (pots, pans, a best-selling Dutch oven and more) and other kitchen products stands behind its products. Technically, Le Creuset offers a limited lifetime guarantee for 10 years. Even so, that’s pretty generous.

Manduka

Manduka is the 18th brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon and is a maker of high-end yoga mats.

The Manduka warranty applies to only certain lines of the yoga mats it manufacturers and sells. There are three lines that qualify. They are:

PRO Travel

Marmot

Marmot is the 19th brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

The company makes rain jackets, sleeping bags and other outdoor gear. The Marmot guarantee says, “We warrant every product we make to be free of manufacturer defects.”

The North Face

The North Face is the 20th brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

Does North Face have a lifetime warranty? Yes, it does.

Here is what that guarantee says.

“The North Face® branded products covered by this warranty are warranted to the original owner against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product.”

The only exception to this lifetime guarantee is with footwear and products that are identified as “The North Face Renewed.” These have a one-year warranty only.

Orvis

Orvis is the 21st brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

The company calls its warranty the “Great Catch Guarantee.” It pretty much stands behind everything it sells.

You can find a variety of Orvis fishing reels on Amazon as well as other outdoor gear and accessories as well as Orvis dog products.

Osprey

Osprey is the 22nd brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

How’s this for a straightforward lifetime guarantee? Osprey calls it the All Mighty Guarantee.

“Osprey will repair any damage or defect for any reason free of charge–whether it was purchased in 1974 or yesterday.”

Otterbox

Otterbox is the 23rd brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

It is because of the Otterbox guarantee that I’ve been able to get two new Otterbox cases for free. This is over a decade.

In fact, I will never NOT buy an Otterbox when I get a new phone. I trust the brand to protect them, full stop. Here is what you need to know about the Otterbox warranty.

Rainbow Sandals

Rainbow Sandals are the 24th brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

When it comes to the Rainbow Sandals lifetime guarantee, it applies to the sole of the shoes only. Still, it says this:

“If your sandals are covered under our warranty and we are unable to repair them, we will issue a new pair.”

Ridge Wallets

Ridge Wallets are the 25th brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

Stanley Tools

Stanley Tools are next on the list of brands on Amazon with a lifetime warranty. However, there is an important distinction I need to make with Stanley Tools.

While all the hand tools (hammers, wrenches, ratchet, etc.) Stanley makes have some sort of warranty, only the Stanley Mechanics Tools have a bona fide lifetime warranty. Here is how the company describes it (all caps are their doing; I’m not shouting):

“STANLEY® Mechanics Tools are covered by the manufacturer’s FULL LIFETIME WARRANTY. If any STANLEY Mechanics Tool ever fails for any reason, STANLEY will replace it. NO PROOF OF PURCHASE required.”

Terry Cycling Shorts

Terry Cycling Shorts are the 27th brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

I discovered them when I was first writing my best Peloton accessories article. Then, I included them in my article on how to make the Peloton seat more comfortable.

In fact, my Terry Shorts have saved my butt–literally–from saddle sores. Here I am wearing them, in my pictures with instructor Denis Morton, after riding live at the Peloton studios New York.

Tervis Tumblers

Tervis Tumblers are the 28th brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

With regards to the Tervis lifetime guarantee, it centers on the notion of temperature regulation. That is, if your Tervis Tumbler no longer keeps something hot or cold, Tervis will likely replace the cup. Totes

Totes brand is the 29th brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

I had no idea that Totes Umbrellas had a guarantee until I saw it on a display in my local supermarket. It said right on the display “lifetime guarantee.”

So I had to include it in this article since you can buy Totes umbrellas and other products on Amazon.

Vermont Teddy Bear

Vermont Teddy Bear is the 30th brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

This one really took me by surprise. Who knew that the Vermont Teddy Bear guaranteed its unique stuffed animals. Also, I had no idea that you could buy them on Amazon.

However, both are true. Therefore, I’ve included Vermont Teddy Bear in this roundup.

Vortex Optics

Vortex is the 31st brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

The company specializes in binoculars and other optics products. However, Vortex also makes men’s lifestyle attire and other kinds of gear.

It calls its guarantee the VIP warranty. In fact, you don’t have to have purchased something special to achieve VIP status.

According to Vortex, “VIP stands for a Very Important Promise to you, our customer. We will repair or replace your Vortex® product in the event it becomes damaged or defective—at no charge to you. If we cannot repair your product, we will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition.”

Wusthof Knives

Wusthof Knives are the 32nd brand of 32 brands with lifetime warranties on Amazon.

Its products “are guaranteed to be free of defects in material and/or craftsmanship.”

Zippos Lighters

I’ll admit that I was hesitant to include Zippo in this roundup. Because, to me, Zippo lighters are associated with smoking, and I’m not a big tobacco fan. However, I realized that people use lighters for lots of other reasons, too, such as lighting birthday candles, fire pits, a charcoal grill and more.

Also, these days, Zippos is more than just lighters. They make hand warmers, outdoor gear and much more. So, I got over myself and added Zippo to the list.
