Austin is a great place to visit.
One, it’s the capital of Texas.
Two, it’s where South by Southwest SXSW happens annually.
Three, it’s home to the University of Texas.
So, lots to do and see in Austin.
Austin Peloton hotels
So, if you need to visit Austin, Texas and want to keep your Peloton streak alive, then you’ll want to know where the Austin Peloton hotels are.
That’s the purpose of this article.
I hope you find the perfect place to stay on your next vacation or business trip to Austin, Texas.
Peloton bike recall and hotel bikes
Peloton recently recalled original bikes because the seat post has broken a couple dozen times and injured riders.
Which Peloton bikes are affected
So, which bikes are affected?
- Original Peloton model Bikes sold from January 2018 to May 2023 in the United States.
- Peloton original Bike sold in the United States only.
It does not affect the following Peloton bikes:
- Peloton bikes sold internationally
- North America Bike+ models
- International Peloton Bikes
I’m sorry to report that many hotels in the United States have unplugged their Peloton bikes, because they are most likely affected by this recall.
AC Hotel Austin Hill Country
Just opened in November 2021, the AC Hotel Austin Hill Country has a single Peloton bike in the gym fitness center.
Like all AC Hotels, it is part of the Marriott family.
AC Hotel Austin-University
The AC Hotel Austin-University website says the fitness center has Peloton bikes.
However, I couldn’t get a sense of how many there are or where they are situated.

Finally, many Marriott hotels have amenities worth noting.
This includes Peloton bikes (sometimes the Peloton Tread), Hydrow Rowers or Tonal/lululemon Studio smart gyms, plus electric vehicle charging.
Archer Hotel Austin
There is one Peloton bike in the fitness center at the Archer Hotel Austin.
Austin Proper Hotel
The Austin Proper Hotel is part of the Marriott Design Hotels group.
Technically, it is a hotel and residences.
As far as the hotel gym, the Speedway Fitness Center includes three Peloton bikes.
Colton House Hotel
You’ll find two Peloton bikes at the funky Colton House Hotel.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown South Congress
There is a Peloton bike in the gym at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown South Congress aka Embassy Suites Downtown Austin.
Hilton Hotel Finder
In Fall 2022 Hilton hotels announced that they were putting Peloton bikes in every U.S. Hilton hotel by year’s end.
That’s great news for Peloton users.
However, in early 2023, my husband stayed at an Embassy Suites by Hilton hotel in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and there was not a Peloton in sight in the hotel gym.
So, caveat emptor.
Also, not all Hilton hotels have Hilton in the name, though many do.
Therefore, if you’re looking for a Hilton hotel, you should know all of the brands in the Hilton family.

I’ve included a link directly to each Hilton brand so you can book a room directly with Hilton.

Finally, even if a Hilton hotel doesn’t have a Peloton bike, you may want to book a stay in a Five Feet to Fitness room.
These guestrooms have workout centers in them, including 11 different pieces of cardio and strength equipment.
Fairmont Austin
It’s hard to tell just how many Peloton bikes are at the Fairmont Austin.
But at least you know the hotel has them, if you’re traveling to Austin, Texas.
Four Seasons Hotel Austin
You’ll have a great view of Austin from the Peloton bike in the fitness center at the Four Seasons Hotel Austin.
Hotel Van Zandt
The Hotel Van Zandt has one Peloton bike.
The pedals are SPD with shoe cages on the other side.
Hyatt Regency Austin
Keep the following in mind, if you want to use the Peloton bikes at the Hyatt Regency Austin.
You need to check in with the front desk first.
That’s because they want to be able to sanitize gym equipment in between each use.
Omni Barton Creek Resort
A friend told me she recently stayed at the Omni Barton Creek Resort in Austin.
She loved that the property had three Peloton bikes in the Barton Creek Fitness Center.
The Otis Hotel, Autograph Collection
There is one Peloton bike available in the fitness center gym at The Otis Hotel, Autograph Collection.
Renaissance Austin Hotel
Located in North Austin, the Renaissance Austin Hotel says it has a Peloton room.
It seems to indicate that the hotel’s Peloton bike is in a separate space in the fitness center.
However, if you happen to stay at this hotel and find out otherwise, please let me know.
The Stephen F Austin Royal Sonesta Hotel
You will find one Peloton bike at The Stephen F Austin Royal Sonesta Hotel.
Tommie Austin
Part of the Hyatt Family, the Tommie Austin hotel opened in 2022.
This hip place to stay in the Texas capital has at least one Peloton cycle in the hotel gym.
The W Austin
At The W Austin hotel, the fitness center is called the FIT space.
It’s there that you’ll find Peloton bikes.
The Westin Austin at The Domain
According to the website of Westin Austin at The Domain, there is one Peloton bike in the hotel gym.
That would be The Westin Workout Fitness Studio.
The Westin Austin Downtown
When the Westin Austin Downtown hotel in Texas shared on its Facebook page about the addition of a Peloton bike, they called it a “workout with a view.”
That is a nice view in the picture below.
It appears that the pedals have toe cages–meaning you won’t have to worry about cycling shoes with cleats compatible with Peloton.
You just slip your sneakers or workout shoes into the cages to pedal.
Austin is technically a college town.
