Because there are now so many Los Angeles-area hotels with Pelotons that the topic deserved its own article.

Therefore, this article on Southern California hotels with Peloton bikes is everywhere except for Los Angeles now.

So, where in Southern California am I listing hotels with Peloton bikes in their gyms or guest rooms?

I’ve included the following towns, listed in alphabetical order:

Peloton bike recall and hotel bikes

Peloton recently recalled original bikes because the seat post has broken a couple dozen times and injured riders.

Which Peloton bikes are affected

So, which bikes are affected?

• Original Peloton model Bikes sold from January 2018 to May 2023 in the United States.
• Peloton original Bike sold in the United States only.

It does not affect the following Peloton bikes:

• Peloton bikes sold internationally
• North America Bike+ models
• International Peloton Bikes

I’m sorry to report that many hotels in the United States have unplugged their Peloton bikes, because they are most likely affected by this recall.

Anaheim California Hotels with Pelotons

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

To get things started, if you’re looking for a Disneyland hotel gym with a Peloton, I can help.

That’s because I happened upon a Peloton user’s Instagram post that showed the Peloton bike at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

Good to know if you’re visiting Disneyland soon.

But, back to hotels. I know lots of people who are visiting Disney always ask, “Do any Disney hotels have a Peloton?”

Now you know–the Grand Californian Disneyland hotel fitness center and gym does have Pelotons.

JW Marriott, Anaheim Resort

Supposedly, the hotel gym at the JW Marriott, Anaheim Resort has two Peloton bikes and a Tonal.

The Westin Anaheim Resort

Located just across the street from Disneyland, the Westin Anaheim Resort is like so many Westin properties that have partnered with Westin.

That is, it has Peloton bikes in the Westin Workout studio aka the hotel gym.

The Westin Anaheim has two Peloton bikes.

I’m told that one has pedals that take SPD cleats.

On the other hand, the other bike has pedals that take the Look Delta cleats that you would use on your home bike.

Carlsbad, California

Park Hyatt Aviara Resort, Golf Club & Spa

I have had two people confirm for me that the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort and Hotel north of San Diego has at least one Peloton bike.

It’s possible there are two there now.

The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa

At The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa, the fitness center has one Peloton bike.

Unfortunately, this Westin does not have any WestinWorkout guestrooms with a Peloton in room.

Chula Vista

Located Southeast from San Diego, the Ayres Hotel San Diego South – Chula Vista says it has one Peloton bike in its expansive fitness center.

Coronado

Coronado Island is located just over the Coronado Bridge from San Diego.

The Coronado Island Marriott Resort and Spa here says they have multiple Peloton bikes in the hotel gym.

Costa Mesa, California

The Westin South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa

The Westin South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa is located in Orange County, near John Wayne Airport.

The hotel says there is a Peloton bike in the Westin Workout Studio aka the fitness center hotel gym.

Dana Point

Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort

A Facebook friend recently stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort and discovered five, count ’em five, Peloton bikes in the hotel’s athletic club.

Hilton Hotel Finder

In Fall 2022 Hilton hotels announced that they were putting Peloton bikes in every U.S. Hilton hotel by year’s end.

That’s great news for Peloton users.

However, in early 2023, my husband stayed at an Embassy Suites by Hilton hotel in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and there was not a Peloton in sight in the hotel gym.

So, caveat emptor.

Also, not all Hilton hotels have Hilton in the name, though many do.

Therefore, if you’re looking for a Hilton hotel, you should know all of the brands in the Hilton family.

These guestrooms have workout centers in them, including 11 different pieces of cardio and strength equipment.

Del Mar

L’Auberge Del Mar

The spa and fitness center at L’Auberge Del Mar includes two Peloton cycles.

Huntington Beach

Kimpton Shorebreak Resort

Located right on the Pacific Coast Highway, the Kimpton Shorebreak Resort is located right on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Also, it has a Peloton and lululemon Studio (formerly the Mirror by Lululemon) along with a climbing wall in the hotel gym.

Pasea Hotel & Spa

At least two people have told me that the Pasea Hotel & Spa had one Peloton bike.

Irvine, California

Irvine Marriott

The Irvine Marriott website says there are two Peloton cycles in the hotel gym.

Sonesta Irvine

In 2022 the Sonesta Irvine completed a $20 million renovation.

One of the improvements?

Adding four Peloton cycles to the fitness center.

La Jolla

The Lodge at Torrey Pines

Located near San Diego, a friend confirmed that The Lodge at Torrey Pines has two Peloton bikes.

La Quinta

La Quinta Resort & Club, Curio Collection by Hilton

Not to be confused with the La Quinta chain of budget hotels, the La Quinta Resort & Club, Curio Collection by Hilton is a resort in the Palm Springs, California area.

A friend was recently there on business and spied six brand-new Peloton bikes in the La Quinta Resort fitness center and hotel gym.

Long Beach

Hyatt Regency Long Beach

You’ll find two Peloton bikes in the fitness center at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach hotel.

Long Beach Westin

A Facebook acquaintance just reported back that the Long Beach Westin hotel has one Peloton bike in the gym.

If you visit the Westin Workout Studio page on the hotel’s website, you’ll see it listed under “Additional Equipment.”

Unfortunately, it’s spelled PELETON.

Renaissance Long Beach

A friend recently visited the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel, a Marriott property.

She was pleasantly surprised to find two Peloton bikes in the fitness center.

Lido House Newport Beach

Don’t believe the announcement on the fitness page of the Lido House Newport Beach website that fitness center is currently closed.

A Facebook friend recently shared that she kept her Peloton streak going by riding the single cycle in the hotel gym.

It is definitely open.

Newport Beach Marriott Bayview

You can book an actual Peloton room at the Newport Beach Marriott Bayview.

Which one?

You want to select the Wellness Suite with Peloton when booking your room.

Oceanside

The Seabird Resort

Located at Oceanside Beach on the North Shore of San Diego, The Seabird Resort has one Peloton bike in the hotel gym.

FYI, this hotel is part of Destination by Hyatt.

Rancho Mirage

The Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa

According to the Westin Workout Studio Fitness page on the hotel’s website, there are two Peloton bikes for guests of The Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa to use.

San Diego

Courtyard San Diego Old Town

You’ll find one Peloton bike at the Courtyard San Diego Old Town.

Hyatt Regency La Jolla

A representative from the Hyatt Regency La Jolla reached out to me about the Peloton cycles at the hotel.

Here’s what I learned.

If you book a “Work from Home” hotel room there, you’ll get a Peloton right in your room.

However, it’s not clear what “class” of hotel room here falls in the “Work from Home” category.

Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina

The homepage for the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina fitness center showcases the hotel’s three Peloton bikes.

There also seems to be a Peloton poster on the wall.

Finally, the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina is one of the California Marriott hotels with EV chargers.

Omni San Diego Hotel

There are multiple Peloton bikes at the Omni San Diego Hotel.

Pendry San Diego

Word around town is that there are two well-maintained Peloton bikes at the Pendry San Diego hotel.

The Westin San Diego

According to the Westin Workout Fitness Studio webpage, the Westin San Diego has one Peloton bike.

The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter

There is a single Peloton bike in the gym at The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.

However, this hotel also has a Westin Workout room featuring the Peloton that you can book.

Here is how the hotel describes this exclusive room:

“Our WestinWORKOUT guest room is equipped with a Peloton® bike so you can rise and ride in the comfort of your room and on your own schedule.”

Santa Barbara

Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort

I heard through the grapevine that you’ll find at least one Peloton bike at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort.

Hotel Milo

A Facebook friend recently shared a picture of her on the Peloton bike in the hotel gym at the Hotel Milo in Santa Barbara.

Bonus: it was overlooking the beach across the street from the hotel.

Mar Monte Hotel

Thanks to a Facebook friend, I discovered that the Mar Monte Hotel–a Santa Barbara hotel on the beach–has two Peloton bikes in the hotel gym.

Palihouse Santa Barbara

A newer boutique hotel in Southern California, the Palihouse Santa Barbara has two Peloton bike in the hotel gym.

Residence Inn Santa Barbara Goleta

The Residence Inn Santa Barbara Goleta is said to have one Peloton bike in the hotel gym.

Final thoughts on Southern California hotels with Peloton bikes

As I’ve said in every piece I’ve written about hotel gyms with Peloton bikes, this one set in Southern California is a work in progress.
